Major struggles with depression abound-- tears into the artwork pretty badly as motivation sinks and all that jazz. Just the usual for an art grad: money, job, money, bills, money, personal growth, money...
On the upside, I have gotten some work done here and there, I spent some time doing pencil-test type animation sketching this morning(gonna toss the WIP in Scraps) and while I was in California visiting my parents, Dad bought me an awesome new tablet that doesn't put nearly the strain on my wrist that little older one does. It's hard to find proper room to use it easily(I've still got a big ol' CRT in my way), but I gotta say that when you're spending a few hours at a stretch drawing/painting on the computer, having a 9x12 patch to move on really helps avoid fatigue. If at some point in the not-too-distant future I can see my way clear to a flat panel of decent size, my workspace should be just about perfect(and then it'll be time to upgrade the computer's internals... /cry).
Been doing a lot of game-related work, specifically working on getting some level design skills doing custom maps for a HL2 community mod that's in need of them. Diversifying probably isn't really what I should be doing to improve my hire-ability right now, but any progress is good progress right now, so I'm embracing it, for good or ill. Maybe I can get some shots of the thing up as it comes together, I dunno. Arguable artforms like that always give me pause with dA.

Found you through the Champions Online forums. Nice work.

Just browsing through your gallery shows a couple of things: One, you've got some regular models, so clearly they're happy with how the shoots turn out. Two: You're clearly pushing and exploring the medium with lighting setups, nice blocking, and post-work, not to mention delving into both color and black and white and keeping an eye for balance and contrast and form.
In a lot of ways, at least to me, artistic merit is as much about pushing yourself as it is a great-looking final product. You tend to have both, and that's what really sets the work a cut above most.
Plus, I love the lighting tutorials. Sometime when I get some time, I want to see if I can re-create the Sanctify look with a good 3D render setup. modo's got a really excellent rendering engine that might be able to pull it off.
